What are the meeting dates?
The 2026 Gables National Meeting begins Tuesday, May 19, 2026. Corporate associates depart for the airport at 11:00am May 21st, and our on-site managers and leaders will depart at 11am on May 22nd.
What is the schedule for each day?
Please refer to the Gables National Meeting app for the event schedule for each day. The app is available at www.gablesnationalmeeting.com.
Who attends the National Meeting?
General Managers, Service Managers, Regional Managers, Regional Service Managers, Corporate Directors, Officers, and Executives.
How often does Gables host the National Meeting?
Typically, every 3 years, but we decided to hold it earlier so we could introduce a structured Signature Service program to all leaders.
I don’t travel often, what should I bring to the airport?
Don’t forget your Government Issued ID (Real ID) or a passport. Your regional contact will have your boarding pass or will advise you how to obtain it at the airport.
Do I have to pay for a checked bag?
Gables will reimburse you for one checked bag, and the airlines will let you bring a carry-on and a personal item at no charge. Personal items include purses, backpacks, computer bags, etc. If you have a purse or cross body bag, you will need to put it inside your personal item so you are carrying on no more than 2 bags.
How do I get from the airport to the hotel?
We have a comfortable motor coaches at the airport to transport associates from (and back to) the airport. Gables representatives will be in the arrivals area to greet you and your team and direct you to the buses.
Do I need a car or transportation while I’m at the meeting?
No, transportation to and from the meeting is provided, and since everything is happening at the La Quinta Resort & Spa, you won’t need a vehicle during the meeting.
Where do I get my room key?
You will pick up your room key at the registration desk in the Flores Ballroom along with your registration packet and some other items.
What expenses are covered?
All other travel expenses incurred getting to/from the National Meeting (ground transportation, meals, etc.) should be charged to your business unit, not the National Meeting budget.
Please follow the Travel/Entertainment SOP (attached) when selecting seats. All expenses must be supported by receipts. P-Cards are not to be used at all for this meeting.

What should I wear during the meeting?
Business casual during daytime meetings. Evening activities will vary, so feel free to dress up or dress down depending on the event and your comfort level. The days will be very hot and the evenings could require a light jacket, while indoor meeting space may also run a little chilly.
Are meals provided?
Yes, all meals during the Gables National Meeting are provided.
Are there evening events?
Yes, there are a variety of evening events during the Gables National Meeting. Please refer to the mobile app for an itinerary of events.
What should I bring with me? (laptop, notebook, etc.)
You won’t need these things for any of the sessions for events, but may need it to stay current with your regular job demands.
What if I have an emergency during the meeting or while traveling?
We will take the necessary steps to accommodate any emergencies.
Do I have to go to the Sponsor Expo?
Yes, our Sponsors are an extremely important part of this meeting, and we wouldn’t be able to gather together in this beautiful location without their support. As such, we ask that you support them in return. Also, there will be a fun incentive for you to visit their booths and a happy hour in the expo hall, just to make it more fun.
Are the late-night events mandatory?
No, but they are a lot of fun!!! And while everything including food, beer, wine, and cocktails are covered during dinner events, only food and soft drinks are provided at no charge during these events.
